Double and Single Room

Our rooms are spacious (20-22 sqm) with high ceilings and historic tiled floors. The furnishing is simple and elegant. This corresponds to the tradition of Paulus-Haus as a place for travelers who are not looking for luxury but want to encounter the spirit, history and culture of the Holy City. Of course, we offer contemporary comfort: All rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet and good WiFi reception. The view goes either to the Old City or to the quiet north side.
Some of our rooms lead to the gallery on the quiet north side or to personal terraces with seating.

Family Room (3-5 Persons)
A very spacious family room (35 sqm) with two levels on the 2nd floor offers three beds. The room has a bathroom with shower and toilet as well as WiFi. On request, two more beds are available for € 35 per person incl. breakfast (sofa bed).
Tower Rooms (3 Persons)
In the octagonal tower of Paulus-Haus, which faces the Old City, we offer you two unusual three-bed rooms with two levels. They each have a bathroom with shower and toilet as well as WiFi.
In the basement of Paulus-Haus there are multi-bed rooms available (a three-bed room and a six-bed room). Each of the rooms is equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet. WiFi is available in all rooms. You can book them as a whole or individual beds.

Our Kitchen
We offer you tasty local and seasonal cuisine that is tailored to your personal needs. All dishes are always freshly prepared. In addition to meat and fish dishes, you will find a selection of salads, vegetarian and vegan dishes on request in our buffet. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know.
We are very conscious in our dealings with food and we usually succeed in not having to throw away any food. We buy all vegetables, fruit and meat fresh from local producers.
Eat and Rest with your Group in Paulus-Haus
We offer your group the opportunity to stop for lunch or dinner and take a break in the hospitable and relaxed atmosphere of Paulus-Haus.
Enjoy the fascinating view of the Old City from our roof terrace, visit the Kaisersaal and our museum with historical models by Conrad Schick from the 19th century showing the Haram ash-Sharif and the Herodian Temple.
The price for lunch or dinner is 75 NIS per person (including water; other drinks are charged extra).
Meet in Paulus-Haus
Hold your conference or event in the spacious and elegant rooms of the historic Paulus-Haus. Your guests enjoy the fascinating view of the Old City from our roof terrace, can visit the Kaisersaal and our museum, with historical models by Conrad Schick from the 19th century showing the Haram ash-Sharif and the Herodian Temple.
Paulus-Haus can accommodate smaller and larger groups of up to 50 people in different rooms. We offer lunch and dinner as well as catering for the coffee breaks. Our team will be happy to support you with the planning and implementation of your event.
We charge a complete price per person including the corresponding event room:
- ganzer Tag mit zwei Kaffeepausen und Mittagessen: € 45 pro Person.
- halber Tag mit einer Kaffeepause und Mittag- oder Abendessen: € 35 pro Person.
- halber Tag mit einer Kaffeepause: € 15 pro Person.
All prices include water; other beverages are charged extra. If you have special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Roof Terrace
A special place, high above the Old City of Jerusalem, is the roof terrace of Paulus-Haus. Our guests can sit there with a spectacular view, enjoy and relax with a glass of wine, coffee or tea. An ideal place for a conversation with your friends, your group or an encounter.
Church, Chapel and Meditation Room
Paulus-Haus has been a place for pilgrims for over a hundred years and until a few years ago was also a monastery in which various religious communities were at home: Lazarist Fathers, Borromean Sisters and most recently the Maria Ward Sisters. This spiritual character can be seen in the church, the chapel and in the meditation room of Paulus-Haus.
For the celebration of the Holy Mass you will find all liturgical utensils and vestments including the German-language liturgical books in the sacristy of Paulus-Haus. The “Gotteslob” is also available in sufficient numbers.
St. Pauls Church
The church shared by the Schmidt School and Paulus-Haus is currently being renovated and redesigned. As soon as the work is completed, we will present it here.
Egeria Chapel
The small house chapel is a place of worship for a small group, for celebrating Holy Mass as well as for personal or community prayer. It is named after a very remarkable woman who made a pilgrimage from western Europe to the Holy Land in the 4th century and left an extensive account of it.
Meditation Room
A modern spiritual room invites a larger group to meditate or to worship. Up to 30 people can gather here.
